These are
(1) belief in the one and only God and in Muhammad as His Apostle,
(2) praying five times a day,
(3) fasting during the month of Ramadan, and
(4) a pilgrimage to Mecca at least once in a lifetime by those who can afford it,
(5) paying the poor tax.
